The company operates in many locations in northwestern Skåne – from recycling centers to recycling facilities, transport services, and headquarters. About the role
As an employee in the scale unit, you belong to the Treatment unit and are stationed at the Filborna facility in Helsingborg. The scale reception consists of four scale operators/controllers, but you will also collaborate closely with Machine Operators, Team Leaders, and the Unit Manager. In addition to Helsingborg, the unit is responsible for the treatment of NSR's facilities in Ängelholm, Höganäs, Bjuv, and Åstorp.
You will be a very important link in our chain that drives the waste facility and will work with:
Registration of waste, incoming and outgoing weighings in the scale system at our facilities
Reception, guidance, and service to our customers and visitors
Guiding and supporting visitors to sort in a correct and safe manner
Ongoing waste inspections of incoming waste
Some administration regarding weighings, inspections, scale cards, etc.
Requirements for success in the role
The scale is the heart of our facility, and without a functioning reception, the operation cannot work. Many tasks run parallel to each other. This requires a high ability to prioritize as well as good collaboration and coordination skills.
As a Scale Operator/Waste Inspector, you need to be stress-resistant, meticulous, positive, and curious. You are used to taking your own initiatives and are organized and responsible. Additionally, you are flexible and have the ability to work both in a team and independently.
We want you to have:
A strong interest in environmental and waste issues
Communicative skills with a strong sense of service
Good knowledge of Swedish and English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
Computer proficiency
B driver's license
If you have ongoing education in the environmental field, it is a plus
Employment
Employment type: Fixed-term employment, temporary work stoppage
Working hours: Varies between approximately 80-100%
Period: June-August with a possibility of extension
Location: NSR's facility at Filborna, Helsingborg
Working hours: According to schedule, Monday - Friday
